Performances

Home Grown programming supports the maturation and growth of local dance makers’ creative work and disrupts the “do it yourself” mindset of producing and presenting dance in Los Angeles.

Home Grown @ Dance All Day

Each year Lula Washington Dance Theatre presents Dance All Day during the Taste of Soul Festival. DRC curates a section of Dance All Day featuring LA dance makers. Participation is open to DRC members on a first come, first serve basis.

Home Grown @ Mimoda

LA area choreographers participate in Rosanna Gamson/World Wide’s residency, Terra Nova, a rigorous constructive 6-week intensive during which they develop work.

The residency culminates in Home Grown @ MiModa, an evening of works in progress + conversation. Audiences and choreographers participate in a guided discussion to think critically about, and engage thoughtfully with dance
